Lynsey Hogarth

BSc (hons)

Architectural Assistant Part I

Lynsey is currently studying for her Masters of Architecture at the University of Bath. She first joined Hutchinson and Partners in July 2020, gaining experience on the office’s workplace and residential projects. Prior to this she worked for international practices WilkinsonEyre and Ryder Architecture, as part of the placement structure offered at Bath.

During her studies Lynsey has developed an interest in the impact of social change and technological advance on rich and complex sites. Her final year work was based in Trieste, a city on the Italian Slovenian border. As a masterplan project, a group of students including her tackled issues of dereliction, emigration, and pollution within the port city. Alongside this, her research dissertation was commended for its sociological approach to the preservation predicament of post war social housing in Britain.

Lynsey has won a number of awards for her academic projects, including the Bristol Society of Architects Prize for Part I and RSHP Master of Architecture Bursary, and has gained opportunities through live projects to collaborate and present ideas outside of the University context, such as the Future of London Conference.
