Boaz became part of Hutchinson & Partners from the outset of the practice in January 2018 having previously worked within Ross’ team at UNIT Architects since 2015 on a number of projects including Chapel Square Ilford, the Reichstag Visitors’ Centre, Canterbury Crescent Brixton, Colindale Gardens and Hendon Waterside.
Boaz completed his BArch at the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel, where his research focused upon alternative approaches to the relationship between architectural conservation, and urban policy, and their impact on underprivileged communities in Israel. Prior to moving to London in 2014, Boaz worked in an award-winning office in Israel on a number of residential projects, and worked as part of a team that won several national and international competitions with projects in the culture and education sectors, allowing him to develop his interest in the conjunction of design with policy making. In 2014 Boaz received a distinction MArch in Urban Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Prior to joining UNIT Architects Boaz also gained experience in London working on small scale, private residential projects where he developed his Building Information Modelling skills.
