Undine joined Hutchinson & Partners’ Berlin office in January 2021 having previously gained experience at practices in the Netherlands and Germany where she worked on projects of various scales including a mixed-use high-rise in Amsterdam, an office refurbishment in Zürich as well as smaller assignments on the German countryside.
She studied at the HTWK Leipzig, the TU Delft, and the TU Berlin where she completed her architectural studies in 2019. Her thesis addressed the revitalisation of the Kulturhäuser in the former GDR. It combined in-depth research of the typology and the state of the remaining buildings with a case study which proposed a redevelopment for the abandoned Kulturpalast in Bitterfeld. Throughout her studies and later work, she engaged with various strategies for a more sustainable built environment; she coordinated the repurposing of materials for an office refurbishment and served as a tutor at the TU Berlin chair of sustainable planning and urban design.
