Pedro joined Hutchinson and Partners in May 2020 having previously worked at Squire and Partners for 4 years where he worked as a project architect for an office refurbishment in Victoria and a large mixed-used scheme in Lewisham comprising of two towers and a cultural facility. He was a key element of the design team on a mixed-used scheme for Kensington and Chelsea comprising of private and affordable homes across six buildings along with cinema facilities. He was also heavily involved on the design of several international competitions having won the Alburouj Park in Egypt and the Vida Hotel and Apartments in Dubai. Prior to this he worked at Mossessian Architecture for 2 years where he was part of the design team for King’s Cross S1 and S2 office buildings for Argent. He is a well-rounded designer with experience in the early stages of design, planning and construction phases and has worked with different clients and local authorities.
Pedro studied architecture at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon having graduated as an Architect in 2007. Upon graduation he gained valuable experience throughout different projects across different practices in Lisbon from small scale residential to cultural projects to masterplans.
