Marco Colaiacomo

With over 12 years’ professional experience, Marco joined Hutchinson and Partners as Associate in 2019.

Marco completed his Master Degree in Architecture in Rome and then a Post Master Degree in Collective Housing at the ETSAM in Madrid in 2007.

From 2007 he collaborated with MatosCastillo Arquitectos in Madrid where he was involved in the design of the Goya Museum in Fuendetodos, the Police Headquarters in Logrono and a school extension in Albacete. He then came back to Italy where he worked as a project architect with Studio Insito and UdA architetti on residential and office projects.

After moving to the UK, Marco joined Allies and Morrison where he successfully delivered as Associate, a series of key projects, such as Camden Goods Yard, a mixed use scheme in the heart of Camden, with 573 units, office space, a supermarket, sharing and affordable workspace and a petrol filling station.

The leitmotif of Marco’s professional experience has been his interest in the housing sector. He is very passionate about residential typologies and their effect on the urban structure. He is also interested in modular construction applied to residential projects.
