Jimi Estevez

Architect

Jimi joined Hutchinson and Partners’ Berlin office in May 2020, having previously worked at various practices in Germany, the UK and Spain. This included a 4 year period with Sauerbruch Hutton on arrival to Berlin. During his time in the UK, Jimi worked at a number of small architecture studios in Scotland and the Northwest of England prior to joining Sheppard Robson in Manchester, where he spent over 8 years working across the UK on projects including Alan Gilbert Learning Commons for the University of Manchester, a project he led from inception to completion. Other key projects include the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Science in Glasgow and the Brynmor Jones Library refurbishment and extension in Hull.

Jimi completed his architecture degree at the University of Dundee in 2003, and he is a registered architect both in the UK (since 2006) and Germany, where he entered the Architektenkammer Berlin in 2020.
