Ellie became part of Hutchinson and Partners in June 2020 having worked previously at Scott Brownrigg since 2014. During her time in Scott Brownrigg Ellie gained a broad experience across a range of sectors including education, residential and cultural schemes. Notably Ellie was involved in the development of the Museum of Military Medicine, an award-winning scheme in Cardiff Bay.
Ellie completed her architectural studies at the Welsh School of Architecture in 2017. She was awarded a first class for her design thesis ‘The Public Living Room’ which respond to the UK government’s pledge to house 20,000 Syrian refugees over 5 years. An extensively researched scheme proposed an infrastructural approach to housing using tested social models to develop new socio-civic spaces attached to NHS hospitals. Ellie qualified as an architect in 2019 following the completion of her part III course at the University of Bath.
