We are pleased to announce that two of our recent projects will be showcased within the New London Architecture’s upcoming Insight Study publication WRK/LDN: Office Revolution, a celebration of the projects that push the bar of office design and advance workspaces. The study will be published on the 19^th May 2021.

The first project is our Uxbridge Road scheme, which has recently gained planning permission. The building accommodates 235,000 sq.ft of flexibly designed adaptable work space above a ground floor that will see publicly accessible spaces and significant enhancements to the public realm, including the creation of a new pedestrian journey with a passage through the buildings that offers the opportunity to connect the Uxbridge Road to nearby Walpole Park.

The second project, is the recently completed refurbishment of Victoria House, Bloomsbury. Designed for the flexible workspace provider LABS, Victoria House is an imposing 1920’s Neoclassical Grade II Listed office building in the heart of Holborn, containing approximately three hundred thousand square feet of office space, alongside retail, hospitality, and event spaces, arranged over thirteen storeys.

Both projects reflect Hutchinson & Partners design ethos of designing robust, timeless and elegant spaces and architecture that have the inherent flexibility to adapt to changing environments and modes of occupation. This approach safeguards the continued use of the buildings long into the future, whilst also recognising the fast pace of change that characterises these times.
