Hutchinson & Partners have been appointed to design a new workplace building on the site of CP House on the Uxbridge Road in the London Borough of Ealing. Following an in depth assessment, it was found the environmental benefits of re-use of the existing buildings on the site was outweighed by the environmental benefits of new build proposals that would provide a higher density of space in close proximity to public transport, increased environmental performance and the opportunity to create a building with sustainable long term adaptability. The proposals will seek to fulfil the council’s aspirations to repair the street edge, create potential new linkages through to Walpole Park and provide much needed work space for the area. It is hoped that we will be able to make a planning submission on behalf of our Client in late summer this year.
